I put together some resources to help you out with having a website. Since you already have a website, here is some information for you to help you keep it running smoothly.

You Have a Website

Great! So you have a website already! How is it going? are you getting the eyeballs on the site? I hope you are doing these 5 things:

• Make Sure Your Software is Up To Date – Outdated software makes you more vulnerable to security risks.
• Ensure you have Adequate Security in Place – You need to do what is possible to keep the hackers out.
• Protect the Access – Review users that have administrative access to your website and determine if they are still needed.
• Back Up the Site On A Regular Basis -You know you should back it up at least weekly… are you?
• Keep Your Content Up To Date – Your copyright date should have the current year, your headshots and video reels should be current, and your contact information should be up to date.

A lot of people ignore their site and don’t do a thing with it after it is up and running! This is a big mistake! When was the last time you backed up your website? Or what about doing technical updates?

You don’t want Execs coming to your site and seeing old information, or even worse, having your site be hacked!
