7 Reasons To Join A Mastermind Group

success-on-mind-1013tm-pic-2394The past couple of days I have been meeting with my Mastermind group down in Houston, TX.

We get together a few times a year in person and when we do, we get a lot of work accomplished.

Although most of us have only known each other for about a year or a year and a half, the camaraderie and willingness to help each other is amazing! I cannot ask for a better group of folks to work with as I build my business.

If you are not familiar with how a mastermind works, consider this:

How does a mastermind work? A group of smart people meet weekly, monthly, daily even if it makes sense, to tackle challenges and problems together. They lean on each other, give advice, share connections and do business with each other when appropriate. It’s very much peer-to-peer mentoring and if you are lucky enough to get invited to one, you will most likely see a marked change in yourself and your business. In the above post, the third reason definitely hits home with this group:

3. Collaboration is the name of the game. You may find someone in the group that is a perfect fit to work on a project with you. Or, you may be the perfect person to help another member as well. The group works together collaboratively, to achieve more together.

Not only are the people in the group experts in their field, they are great people and are like family to me.

Are you in a mastermind? What are the benefits you get and give to the group?
