The Many Reasons To Be Happy
Today, April 1, 2018, has a few reasons to be happy!
- Today is Easter, Sunday!
- Today is Passover!
- Today is April Fools Day!
- Today start the April 2018 Ultimate Blog Challenge!
Let me tell you about the challenge – The Ultimate Blog Challenge is a challenge for you. You are to write 30 blog posts in 30 days. You do not have to write one a day (but I found it helps!) – you are just ‘agreeing’ to write and post 31 posts during the month of April.
You are held accountable to yourself and to the Challenge Community.
The challenge takes place every January, April, July, and October!
By the way – there is nothing special about joining! If you have a blog, you can participate! All you have to do is sign up at The Ultimate Blog Challenge and start writing!
I can’t recall how many challenges I have participated in – maybe this is my 15th or 16th Challenge!
Whoops! I almost forgot to mention… it is FREE! It will cost nothing!
Why am I doing it? Well, there are lots of good reasons including:
- Increased visibility – More blog posts means more opportunity for people to see it!
- Increased Google Love – More blog posts written on a consistent basis causes Google to sprinkle its love all over my site! This will result in better rankings!
- Decreased Alexa Score (the lower the score, the better!)
- Build relationships and become part of a Community – I have met folks online and ended up working with them because of it! This is a great way to expand your reach.

I’m happy today…but ask me again on April 30th, lol. To date, I’ve never been able to complete 30 posts in 30 days, so I may need a short break after its all said and done! But, thank you for this opportunity!

I’ve been waiting for the April challenge to start since the January one ended! I actually had plans to write a list of topics and go off that but that didn’t happen. I’m just going to wing it like I have the past 2 years!!

Very excited to be taking on the challenge (again!). Looking forward to developing new relationships with other bloggers, finding new blogs to regularly follow, and stepping outside my comfort zone with sharing! We started April 1st here in TN with 70-degree temps – LOVED it!
